Belgian media outlets are reporting that online and land gambling group Ladbrokes has received what appears to be a mild slap on the wrist in the form of a one day suspension of its licence for unauthorised offering of virtual betting.
The reports claim that the Belgian Gaming Commission has ordered the gambling operator to suspend all online and retail activity at its Belgian subsidiaries for a 24 hour period on September 3.
Neither Ladbrokes nor the BGC has confirmed the claims.
