Bet365 goes big on Spanish football

European sports betting behemoth bet365 has announced a total of 11 La Liga football club sponsorships in Spain for the coming 2018-19 season.

On Wednesday the company named the teams it has partnered with as RCD Espanyol, Villarreal, Athletic Club, Real Betis, Getafe, SD Huesca, Celta Vigo, Rayo Vallecano, Real Valladolid and SD Éibar.

Other recent Spanish sponsorship deals by UK-licensed gambling firms include Betway’s agreements with Deportivo Alavés, C.D. Leganés and Levante U.D. GVC’s Bwin has also been active, with agreements with Valencia, Sevilla and Atletico Madrid (see previous reports).
