UK online gambling firm bet365 is looking to more than double its headcount at its Manchester offices to support the phenomenal growth of the company.
The Manchester office, established 12 months ago, looking to attract potential employees from a region known for its deep technical talent pool, has since expanded into a second floor and has grown its staff complement by 60, Warren Hughes, head of systems development said in an interview with the Manchester Evening News.
“We assumed it would take around six – 12 months to fill 60 vacancies,” Hughes said.
“We were wrong. After six months, we’d taken on a second floor and hired around 85 people and expect to grow to over 150 strong following the next round of recruitment.”
bet365’s next phase will see the recruitment of junior and senior developers, team leads, project managers and tech leads.
