BetConstruct empowers anyone to become a bookmaker

Betconstruct has launched a new iOS and Android application that enables the average person to become a bookmaker and turn any game into a bet-on-event.

Following the download of ‘BookieApp’, the user can create individual bet markets on a selection of preloaded sports such as football and basketball or create a custom event such as rock-paper-scissors.

Wannabe bookmakers enter the probability that each outcome has of winning, add on their margin and can upload the odds to social media so that friends can follow progress or get involved.

It’s an interesting development but one that may have more questions than answers in terms of regulatory requirements in developed markets.
