Betdaq, an online betting exchange in the Ladbrokes online and land gambling group has inked a three-year agreement to provide strip for the London-based first league football club Charlton Athletic, replacing the University of Greenwich as shirt sponsor.
The club suffered relegation last season but hopes to make a comeback.
The usual branding and courtesy privileges will be extended to Betdaq at the team’s Valley stadium, along with access to fans through digital and social network channels.
Shane McLaughlin, CEO of the betting firm said in a statement Friday:
“We’re backing the club to bounce back into the Championship this year and we believe it has a bright future ahead. It certainly promises to be an exciting season with Russell Slade in charge and some great new signings already in place.
“Football is an important and growing part of our business and the Charlton Athletic partnership provides a great platform to bring our product and brand to a new audience in the important London market.”
