Betfair appoint non-exec director

Betfair Group plc has appointed Zillah Byng-Maddick as a non-Executive director and a member of its audit committee as of September 5, 2013.

Byng-Maddick has a strong background in finance having served as CFO for both the Trader Media Group and the Thresher Group.  She held the position of Finance Director at the Fitness First Group and other senior positions in finance with GE Capital and HMV Media Group.
