The start of the English football Premier League season next week will also see the launch of a new football-centric integrated advertising campaign by UK online betting exchange Betfair, the publication Campaign Live reports.
The campaign has been developed by the Cubo advertising agency under the title “More to Play For” theme and is the first time that Betfair has concentrated an above-the-line campaign based on football.
A Cubo spokesman told Campaign Live that the initiative will include TV, radio, press and digital channels.
Television features heavily in the campaign with four different 30 second adverts, but radio, print and digital media are all embraced.
The campaign supports sponsorship deals already signed by Betfair with high profile UK football clubs like Sunderland and Aston Villa
