UK bookmaker Betfred will be the first online gaming company to utilise International Game Technology’s (IGT) new office and data centre in Gibraltar following a partnership deal entered into this week.
Betfred.com will move over to IGT’s rgs platform, boosting its games offering with popular player titles such as Elvis, Star Trek, Da Vinci Diamonds and Monopoly and enabling it to facilitate a transition of some of the highest grossing land-based casino games into the online arena.
“Games are a key focus area for the company and we are committed to continually improving the player experience on the site,” said Chris Sheffield, managing director of Betfred.com
“As we are licensed in Gibraltar, it was an easy decision to make the move over to the IGT rgs platform and boost our selection of market-leading games.”
Alex Kelly, vice president of Interactive, IGT, added: “We are delighted that Betfred.com has become the first of our partners to be serviced from our new office and data centre in Gibraltar.”
Betfred is certainly ramping up its online arm with a recent revamp of its website undertaken by London-based firm Aqueduct. The new, improved website was improved and re-designed according to feedback from focus groups, market research and competitions incentivising feedback from Betfred players.
The new website features strong colours and crisp graphics and players are able to personalise the layout of various games and promotions on offer, with the ability to toggle between grid and carousel views, adding a personal touch and saving playing time.
