Betsoft’s latest online slot has a fishing theme

Online gambling games developer BetSoft has announced the launch of its latest online slot, a 5 reel, 20 pay-line game titled The Angler.

As the title suggests, the theme is all about fishing and the efforts of burly angler Otis to hook something big enough to brag about from the large lake which forms the backdrop.

The lake has an interesting range of aquatic creatures; the Oyster Pearl Scatter feature allows for a generous amount of re-triggering free spins, whilst the frequently occurring Octopus Sticky Wild can substitute for any icon in the game except for the Oyster Pearl scatter and the bonus round icon.

The Octopus sticks to the reel, persisting throughout the free spins, and once the bonus is awarded the player joins Otis out on the water in his search for that really big catch, with three opportunities to win.
