Elray Gaming has inked a deal for the provision of virtual horse racing facilities with BetTek SIMTV.
Elray will deploy the server-based product direct to consumers, and will also use it in building white label networked products for companies that already own and operate online gaming products, casinos and sports betting facilities.
The SIMTV betting engine has three options which include fixed odds, sliding fixed odds and pari-mutuel, enabling worldwide deployment with regional preferences.
Betting can be accepted as soon as the race is posted, up to 7 days in advance. All betting is closed 10 seconds prior to race start at which time the system calculates the result rendering files and sends the animation file to the viewer for the virtual race action, thus eliminating the risk of tampering with odds or pay-outs.
Special security measures are incorporated in the system to give maximum safety and prevent the use of bots, and the system tracks every bet transaction for each user in “cash” or “play for fun” mode that can be viewed by the player from the web page, or by the operators from the call centre module.
Brian Goodman, the CEO of Elray Gaming said Monday:
“This is a valuable and unique product and there is no doubt that the product will be embraced by social gamers, online casino players, kiosk operators and sports betting operators.
“SIMTV has created a real-time virtual world strictly focused on a horse racing betting platform. For either cash bets in areas where available, or as ‘play for fun’ mode, we feel this product could become very popular among horse racing enthusiasts. In addition to development, we will seek out current holders of land-based horse track racing licenses to partner with, and if possible this could be a virtual racing game in betting parlours, or bars.”
