Betway names new CEO

Betway has appointed Anthony Werkman as its new chief executive officer succeeding Richard Akitt who takes up the position of Chairman.

Werkman joined Betway in 2013, most recently serving as Director of Marketing and Operations.

Richard Akitt, Chairman of Betway, said: “It’s been a privilege to be CEO of Betway for the last five years, but the time is right for me to hand over the reins to Anthony.

“I look forward to continuing our excellent working relationship and being closely involved in the strategic direction of the business going forward.”
