Online bookmaker Betway has penned a three-year-deal with the German football club Fortuna Düsseldorf to become the Bundesliga side’s official betting partner up to and including the 2020/21 season.
Promoted from the second tier of German football last season, the club has signed a three-year partnership deal with Betway, which has been the principal sponsor of English Premier League side West Ham United since 2015 and has further partnerships with fellow Bundesliga outfit Werder Bremen, Belgian First Division A club Anderlecht, Italian Serie A giants AS Roma and three La Liga clubs, Deportivo Alaves, C.D. Leganés and Levante U. D.(see previous reports).
Betway spokesman Antony Werkman said in a press statement over the weekend:
“It’s been a very busy summer at Betway. Following three deals with La Liga clubs in Spain and AS Roma in Italy, we’ve today strengthened our hand in the German market by partnering with Dusseldorf.”
