Big Time Gaming says it has clinched a major international agreement with Sony Pictures Television that enables it to design and develop a branded slots game based on Sony Pictures Television’s (SPT) hit game show, ‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?’.
The developer claims it fought off competition from some of the largest and most established studios in the world to be granted the licence from SPT.
Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? will debut at G2E Las Vegas in October, followed by the exclusive launch on the 18th of November in Las Vegas and then via the Scientific Games and Microgaming networks.
Nik Robinson, CEO of Big Time Gaming, said: “We are delighted to have been awarded the licence for Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? and we are extremely proud of our first game offering in a series of slots with the brand’s key identity at the heart. Sony’s confidence in our ability to do the brand justice strengthens our position.
“Big Time Gaming is often seen as a small developer that punches above its weight, but this is further proof that the agile and streamlined nature of the business is one of our biggest advantages when it comes to launching cutting-edge games quickly.
“The Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? game will showcase our latest innovations when it comes to math and game mechanics, as well as the most mind-blowing graphics we have created to date.”
