Sydney, Australia-based online gambling software and games developer Big Time Gaming has announced that it has signed a licensing agreement for its US-patented MegaWays mechanic with Isle of Man-based games developer Red Tiger Gaming.
Red Tiger will combine the innovative mechanic with its own distinct slots design, including its pioneering Daily Jackpots, Smart Spins player rewards engine and new tournaments application, to take player engagement to a new level.
The partnership allows Red Tiger Gaming to design its own games using MegaWays, which first debuted in Big Time Gaming’s Dragon Born more than three years ago.
MegaWays is the name of a random reel modifier system that sees any given spin produce a different number of symbols across the reels, allowing players to experience a totally different game with every spin.
Big Time Gaming has cornered the market for such games with this innovation with games like Bonanza, White Rabbit and Extra Chilli, and will be launching Who Wants to be a Millionaire in November.
BGT signs a similar licensing deal with Storm Gaming recently (see previous report).
