Big Time Gaming preps launch of Holy Diver

Australian slot developer Big Time Gaming (BTG) will release its new slot ‘Holy Diver’ later this week to LeoVegas on an exclusive basis until February 7, 2010, after which a wider rollout will take place.

Themed on American heavy metal band Dio’s song from the 80’s, ‘Holy Diver’ has been two years in the making.

The title features BTG’s new Reel Adventure mechanic which enables the developer to introduce complex narratives and interactive characters to the game.

Holy Diver offers three worlds with three tiers of volatility that players control by choosing to play the bonus round or to level up and play the base game with a multiplier.

In addition, the slot features BTG’s MegaWays mechanic, giving players up to 117,000 ways to win in the base game and up to 586,971 ways to win in the bonus game.

“Holy Diver is our most complex and comprehensive game to date and is something truly special,” Nik Robinson, chief executive of Big Time Gaming said.

“Reel Adventure is a huge leap forward in slot game development and allows us to take any theme, brand, movie, etc and combine it with a narrative and central character.”

As with the developers MegaWays mechanic, BTG’s new ‘Reel Adventure’ mechanic will be available to other developers on a licensing basis.
