The official licensee of online gaming brand Bodog has become the latest English Premier League Football Club sponsor.
The West Bromwich Albion Football Club announced the deal as “the largest sponsorship deal in its history” and will see Bodog Europe’s logo sitting on the “Baggies” shirts while also becoming the club’s official betting partner.
Mark Jenkins, chief executive of Albion said: “We are delighted to have Bodog on board. “Following our most successful Barclays Premier League campaign there was a great deal of interest in becoming our club sponsor. “We had a number of options and in the end Bodog presented an all-round partnership that best suits both parties.
“We look forward to helping them promote their brand in the Premier League.”
Patrik Selin, CEO of Bodog Europe, said: “In choosing a sponsorship partner we were looking for a club with a genuine team spirit and we are delighted to have found that in West Bromwich Albion.
“In the social media era a sponsorship should be about backing the investment with a return commitment to the club and the fans and we are looking forward to working closely with all parties.”
