Gibraltar-based online gambling group 32Red has announced that marketing exec Matthew Booth is back in the company fold after a six year absence with Betfair plc as marketing director and global head of brand.
Booth (38) takes up the new position of commercial director at 32Red and will join the board of directors on November 4. He is a digital and brand-led communications marketing professional, with over 13 years’ experience of building international marketing campaigns in the betting and gaming industry.
Booth was head of marketing at 32Red plc between June 2006 and January 2008 before joining Betfair, and prior to this held marketing positions with Littlewoods Bet Direct, Stanley Leisure plc and United Racecourses.
32Red CEO Ed Ware said Thursday:
“We are delighted to have recruited Matt. His appointment is a reflection of our determination and focus on leveraging our growing marketing budget to best effect. His recent experience in brand building will help 32Red extend its reach in both the UK and internationally, while his strategic thinking and management skills will be vital to ensure a coherent and disciplined approach to an expanded marketing function.
“Matt has an excellent understanding of global brand marketing as well as strong management skills and will be a valuable addition to the main Board.”
