Reports from New Jersey are that Borgata-networked online sites Borgata Casino, playMGM and PartyCasino NJ have quietly soft launched live dealer action following a collaborative deal that enables them to offer games from the Atlantic City live dealer studio of rival Golden Nugget.
Confirming the arrangement, a spokesman for Borgata revealed that a full roll-out of the product will be executed in the near future.
Borgata, which is consistently second to Golden Nugget in the monthly online gambling stats from New Jersey, will he expecting the addition of live dealer action to boost its flagging market share (currently 16.8 percent and down from Q1-2016’s 25.4 percent.
Borgata’s latest online monthly revenue for the first quarter 2018 came in at $10.75 million.
The live dealer product has reportedly improved Golden Nugget’s revenues significantly, enabling the company to post a 32.5 percent improvement y-o-y in Q1-2018.
The addition of live dealer also gives both Golden Nugget and Borgata an advantage over rival Resorts, Tropicana, and Caesars, which have yet to embrace the genre.
