Borneo police shut down online gambling centre

Police in Miri raided a large online gambling processing centre late on Saturday night, arresting nine and seizing computers and other evidence.

Sarawak CID chief SAC Denis Leong said the raid was carried out following information received.

“The team arrested a manager and eight of his workers, aged in their 20s and 30s, and also seized 18 computers, servers and various electronic devices,” he said in a statement.
