The Irish online betting and social gaming operator Bragbet has inked an agreement that makes it the official betting partner of the Northern Ireland Football League for the next two-and-a-half years.
Backed by telecommunications giant Telefonica, Bragbet has a unique business format in that it encourages groups to form and socialise on its website and mobile facilities whilst placing bets.
Graeme Beggs, the NIFL’s marketing and communication manager, said of Bragbet:
“They are a young and incredibly exciting company who, in our opinion, could revolutionise the way fans interact with each other by combining social media and betting in the one platform.
“No other business shared our vision of a combined social media and football product quite like BragBet.”
This is the second major football-related deal that Bragbet has signed in recent months – earlier this year the company announced a partnership deal with the Football Association of Ireland and its Republic of Ireland national football team .
