Online betting exchange, Betfair announced the appointment of Alasdair Wright as Global Head of Customer Marketing and Loyalty, this week.
Wright will be responsible for nurturing customer value by improving activity and retention rates amongst existing customers, delivering a highly segmented, multi-channel approach and driving a customer centric approach to communications.
Wright joins Betfair from BSkyB having spent a total of ten years in a variety of roles including Head of Marketing and Strategy and, most recently, as Director of Online and Interactive Channels, a position which he held for four years. Prior to BSkyB, Wright was Head of Customer Marketing at AOL.
