Big Time Gaming’s successful online mining-themed slot ‘Bonanza’ will reach a wider audience with its integration into Microgaming’s Quickfire platform.
The deal is an extension to Microgaming’s six-year relationship with the developer.
Described as “the biggest slot in online gaming history”, Bonanza was first released in 2016. The slot features Big Time Gaming’s patented reactive MegaWays™ mechanic, a random reel modifier system that sees any given spin produce a different number of symbols across the reels.
The launch of Bonanza will be followed by the industry’s most anticipated game release of 2018; Who Wants to Be a Millionaire™, which will be available via Microgaming and Scientific Games from the 28th of November.
Nik Robinson, CEO of Big Time Gaming, said: “Bonanza is one of the most successful online slot games of all time and adding it to the Microgaming portfolio will ensure it continues to reach new players around the world.
“We have a longstanding partnership with Microgaming and the launch of Bonanza and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire™ has garnered a great deal of interest with casinos we have not been able to reach up until now.”
James Buchanan, Director of Global Operations at Microgaming, commented: “The release of Bonanza via our Quickfire platform is a great addition to our diverse portfolio of games, offering a new feature driven experience with Big Time Gaming’s MegaWays™ mechanic. We look forward to adding more content from Big Time Gaming, especially with the anticipated release of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire™ online slot later this month.”
