bwin.party in Italian retail sector move

Bwin.Party Digital Entertainment, a major European online gambling group, made a move on the Italian retail betting sector this week, announcing a collaborative brand-licensing deal with Italian retail supplier Obiettivo 2016 at a press conference in Rome.

The agreement permits Obiettivo 2016 to use the Bwin brands in Italy, with an initial plan to penetrate up to 15 percent of the Italian retail betting sector, promoting the brand across 400 independent retail betting stores and 300 cafes and building a network.

Bwin’s contribution is its continued heavy brand marketing through advertising and sports sponsorships.
