Marketing flaws which saw Caesars Interactive Entertainment – the online division of Caesars Entertainment – allegedly soliciting over 250 self-excluded gamblers to its New Jersey online sites have resulted in a fine of $10,000 imposed on the company by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.
DGE spokesperson Kerry Langan told the Reuters news agency that the fine was the first imposed by the regulator since New Jersey launched legalised online gambling a year ago.
