Cantor Fitzgerald is reportedly looking to secure a Macau gaming licence in an expansion strategy outside of Nevada said its chief executive officer Howard Lutnick in an interview with Bloomberg.
“We’re in the process of getting licensed in Macau, when you have these big casinos as your partners, it makes it much more easy,” he said.
Lutnick further revealed that its Las Vegas sports betting operations had increased by 13 percent this year due to innovative new products.
Its move into the Macau casino market would involve on-premises betting similar to current agreements it holds with Sheldon Adelson’s Las Vegas casinos the Venetian and the Palazzo .
