The respected online gambling information portal Casinomeister.com has announced its annual awards for 2011, continuing an eleven year tradition that has proved popular with the player community.
These keenly anticipated awards are held by many to be some of the most important and prestigious awards given to online gaming companies said Bryan Bailey, owner and webmaster of Casinomeister.com.
New categories added this year are the “Best Relaunch”, “Lower Than Whale Doodoo Award”, and the “Phoenix Award” bringing the initial 15 award categories to over 40.
Here’s a snapshot of some of the most widely read awards:
32Red Plc. took triple honors for “The Best Casino of 2011 – Global”, “Best Casino Group – Global”, “Best Casino Manager.” Bailey stated, “They nailed the Best Casino award in 2003, and have been hammering away on what it takes to be a number one casino each and every day of the year. Their excellence has never lapsed – and after all these years, still no other casino has seriously taken them on…”
3Dice Casino took the honors for “The Best Casino of 2011 – US Friendly.” “3Dice is not a “run of the mill” casino. Their games are refreshingly different, their customer support is top notch, they provide provocative information about games and website via their Zeitgeist. The Zeitgeist includes each game’s RTP in real time, historical RTP history, current payout times, popular games, current winners, and who has been participating the most in their chatroom. This transparency is not only conductive to the casino’s credibility, it’s something their competitors should try to emulate….”
The Ted Loh Humanitarian Award was given to Golden Palace, who organized a donation drive for charitable organizations providing relief for the Tsunami that hit Japan this year.
The newly created Phoenix Award – an award given to companies that have made remarkable improvement over the year – was given to the Kahnawake Gaming Commission. “Once a mediocre, ineffectual licensing jurisdiction – the KGC has become a true standard bearer of what a licensing jurisdiction should be: approachable, responsive and effective. A lot of hard grueling work has been put into turning the KGC around.”
Leander Games, a relatively new game developer, won the Best Games Award. “Leander Games are producing slots that will blow you away. This company, which has just entered the market this year, has placed a well planted foot into the door with Reely Poker and Megadeath.”
But the awards are not all praise. There are the “worst” of the year awards as well: Worst Customer Service, Worst Casino, Worst Player Experience, Biggest Disappointment of 2011, Head in the Sand Award, Stupid Casino Tricks, Evil Player Award, and much more.
