Virtual sports content provider Inspired Gaming has agreed an extended contract with Central Europe’s largest land and online betting operator, Fortuna Group.
Following regulatory changes in Poland, Inspired says it is ready to commence Virtual Sports deployment in the country and anticipates that its full suite of virtual sports products will be available to operators in 2017.
In a deal which extends to 2019, Fortuna Group will deploy Inspired’s Virtual Sports content to over 200 Polish retail venues and online operations, the company revealed in a statement Wednesday.
New products available as part of the deal with Fortuna include Rush Football 2 and Rush Keno. Fortuna currently also supplies Inspired’s Virtual Horse Racing, Virtual Greyhounds and Virtual Motor Racing, among others, both in retail and online to other Central European jurisdictions.
Inspired’s premium Rush Basketball featuring NBA Hall of Fame star Shaquille O’Neal will become available to Polish operators in 2017, along with the popular multi-match product, Rush Football Matchday.
Steve Rogers, CCO Digital Games, Inspired Gaming Group, said Wednesday that the Fortuna extension enables Inspired to widen the deployment of its products in the region through 2017.
“The passing of this new legislation in Poland provides a strategic opportunity to deliver our Virtual Sports online and in retail to a new European market,” he said.
Michal Hanák, group chief sportsbook officer, Fortuna Game, added, “The passing of new regulations is significant news for the region and will allow Fortuna to strategically increase its presence in retail venues and in the online space.”
