Sportech plc subsidiary The Football Pools is now making its betting products available on the Australian internet betting site Centrebet, the company reported this week.
Centrebet customers will receive a range of Football Pools games, including the original millionaire maker, Classic Pools, with a GBP 3 million top prize up for grabs, plus popular weekly predictor games like Premier 10 and Head2Head.
Ian Hogg, chief operating office at The Football Pools, said: “One of the key elements of continually revitalising The Football Pools is recruiting new customers via new distribution channels to increase pool liquidity. We have focused strongly on improvements in technology, the customer experience and developments in the product range, all of which have accelerated our ability to integrate with third party organisations across the world.”
Centrebet business manager Peter Staunton said that he was confident that The Football Pools products would appeal to Centrebet punters.
“We are constantly looking at ways of diversifying our product range and we’re delighted to be entering into a relationship with a brand with as much history as The Football Pools,” he said.
Centrebet offers sports and horse racing markets through its licensed Australian sports-bookmaker, Centrebet Pty Ltd (Centrebet.com) and the United Kingdom bookmaker, Centrebet UK Limited. The company was acquired by Sportingbet plc earier this year in a A$183 million deal, and currently offers up to 6,000 international sports and horse racing markets per week, along with a growing list of quality online gaming products.
