Klaus F. Jaenecke has tendered his resignation to Tipp24’s Executive Board effective on the completion of the 2011 AGM.
As Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Jaenecke has been closely involved in the company’s development and as such the company has made good progress under difficult market and regulatory conditions, quadrupling revenues and almost quintupling EBT. Preliminary figures show record revenues and earnings in Tipp24’s fiscal year 2010.
Jaenecke intends pursuing personal plans but will contribute to the partial restructuring of the Supervisory Board of Tipp24 SE. His decision was based on his conviction that regular change within the Board complies with the principles of good governance provided a balance is found between renewal and continuity.
Dr. Hans Cornehl, CEO of Tipp24 SE, states: ´We deeply respect and regret the decision of Klaus Jaenecke to retire from the Supervisory Board of Tipp24. Mr. Jaenecke proved a reliable and competent partner for our company in dynamic growth phases as well as in periods of profound change. The Executive Board would like to express its sincere gratitude for the excellent cooperation.”
