The UK publication eGaming Review reports exclusively that UK online gambling group Ladbrokes is scheduled to announce major management changes on Friday as part of its ongoing “Operation Galvanise”, initiated by recently appointed CEO Richard Glynn following advice from consultants.Those reported to be on the way out include:
Ed Andrewes – managing director – egaming
Andy Harris – head of gaming
New arrivals are expected to be:
Edwina McDowall (previously of Cable & Wireless) – product manager and operations (new role)
Stephen Vowles – director of customer experience
Nick Rust (previously Gala Coral) – retail managing director
Gary McIlraith (previously Alix Partners) – director of digital channels, international and strategy
John Kelly (formerly Gala Coral Chairman) – non executive board member
Existing management are :
Paul Witten – head of sportsbook will move into a customer development role
Alex Kovach – head of international and mobile
Richard Ames – central operations
Wendy Collins – customer acquisition
Cliff Batey – finance
A Ladbrokes spokesman would only say that “as part of galvanise there is an ongoing review of structure and these changes are part of that process”.
