Cherry has announced changes to its online gaming executive team, saying it reflects the areas growing importance to the company.
Jonas Wåhlander has been appointed chief executive officer for the division to support further growth and profitability.j
He brings 15 years’ senior experience from within screen-based, online entertainment businesses, most recently managing the Universal Sony Pictures operations in the Nordic region where he served as Managing Director.
Current chief operating officer Marius Andersen will remain with the division but in a newly created senior role of chief growth officer responsible for leading Cherry Online Gaming’s aspirational growth objectives and exploration in to new markets along with a focus on partner co-operations. He will report to Wåhlander.
