The November 2015 numbers on China’s giant lotteries – made up chiefly of the China Welfare Lottery and the China Sports Lottery – have been released by the Ministry of Finance and show a 10.2 percent decline in sales to RMB 30.6 billion (US$4.7 billion) compared with the same month in 2014.
That means that total lottery sales in 2015 to end November were down 3.6 percent year-on-year at RMB 333.8 billion as the crackdown on corruption in China and the country’s economic slowdown continue.
