Churchill Downs completes Big Fish Games acquisition

Churchill Downs Incorporated’s (CDI) acquisition of social game developer Big Fish Games has been completed for a consideration of $485 million and a potential further earn-out payment of up to $350 million based on the developer achieving EBITDA growth in 2015.

The acquisition will expedite CDI’s expansion into the mobile and online games industry providing  “new products, new customers, new geographies and new sizeable growth opportunities,” Bill Carstanjen, chief executive officer for CDI said earlier this year.
