Q4-2014 statistics released earlier this month by the independent social casino monitoring company Eilers Research show that Caesars Interactive Entertainment has maintained its leading market position in the social casino vertical and currently holds a marginally increased 21.2 percent market share compared with the preceding quarter.
CIE has a solid lead on its nearest rival, International Game Technology’s Double Down subsidiary, which managed to corner a 10.5 percent share of the market ahead of third placed Zynga (8.4 percent).
Big Fish Games owner Churchill Downs claimed the fourth spot with a 6.6 percent share, whilst Sony followed close behind with 6.5 percent, and Scientific Games and Boyaa wrestled for sixth with 4.7 percent apiece.
Further down the list was Tencent on 4.3 percent; Playstudios on 2.6 percent and Aristocrat on 2.5 percent.
