Following an inspection of Atlantic City casino properties carried out by Nevada gaming enforcement director David Rebuck, Governor Chris Christie has lifted a closure order on all twelve casino properties.
A mandatory evacuation order issued to city residents was removed as casinos were permitted to re-open in the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy.
“The director has indicated that a complete review and assessment of the status and condition of each casino property, including the casino floors, its equipment, surveillance, security and gaming-related computer systems have been completed,” said Christie.
