My Club Betting.com (MCB) has entered into a three-year, six-figure partnership with the Wales National Rugby Team, becoming the League’s official lead sponsor.
MCB will develop an official Wales Rugby League betting site that will push 20 percent of betting revenue back into the sport, a statement said.
“This truly is a fantastic opportunity for Wales Rugby League to generate income through an extremely innovative and exciting model,” commented Brian Juliff, chairman of the Wales Rugby League. “The deal will take us right through into the 2017 World Cup and I am delighted that My Club Betting will be a major part of that journey as principal sponsors of Wales Rugby League.”
Neil Riches, managing director for My Club Betting added: “We are delighted to be able to support Wales Rugby League at such an exciting time for the sport. There is already a thriving scene at grassroots and semi-professional level, but we also recognise the massive untapped potential for Rugby League in Wales, on and off the field”.
Riches has served at My Club Betting since April 2013 and as a director of TBS Services UK Limited (The Betting Service) since November 2013.
The Betting Service previously held a relationship with the now defunct betting concierge Bet Butler (see previous reports), as did the now liquidated WorldLink Group Plc of which Riches too was a Director.
