Codeta joins the live dealer sector

Malta-based live table games pioneer Codeta.com has partnered up with Authentic Gaming to offer its customers a land-based live casino experience on their mobiles, tablets and desktops for the first time.

The agreement allows Codeta.com to live stream games from international casino floors featuring real-world croupiers and actual players.

The games are available to play on both desktop and mobile and tablet devices, and on Android and iOS platforms. The roll-out boosts Codeta’s portfolio, which includes live dealer games from Evolution Gaming and NetEnt, and slots from IGT, Microgaming and others.

Codeta.com CEO Edward Ihre, said in a statement Monday:

“Authentic Gaming has developed a truly innovative product. We have long been a champion for table games, and believe the vertical is overlooked by other operators who favour slots. But with this product, we believe we can bring table games back into the mainstream.”

Jonas Delin, CEO, Authentic Gaming, said that his company’s Roulette tables are streamed from some of the world’s finest resorts and casinos and will complement Codeta’s table games inventory, enabling the company to acquire both experienced and new table game players.

Codeta currently operates in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada, with plans to launch in additional territories in the coming months.

The Codeta statement explains that the company’s name is derived from the French phrase ‘coup d’état’ to describe its goal of “kick-starting a revolution against the current status quo of the online casino industry.”
