The Alderney Gambling Control Commission has issued an e-gaming licence to Ljubljana, Slovenia-based developer ComTrade Gaming, enabling it to offer its e-gaming platform to new and existing customers.
In 2012, ComTrade Gaming registered as a company in Alderney and applied for licensing, subsequently awarded in March 2013.
A ComTrade Gaming spokesman said the firm went through a number of rigorous approval phases whereby gambling equipment that is required to run and support games was tested by the AGCC. The testing was conducted by SIQ, a professional independent and impartial institution providing complete solutions in the field of product testing, and who are accredited to do so by the AGCC.
Ales Gornjec, director of products and solutions at ComTrade Gaming said “We have been issued with a category two licence which means that we are now able to provide customers with our platforms integrated with best of breed content, either through a cloud based service or dedicated customer environments. This represents a huge step for us as a company and this move comes from the desire to expand our leading product offering on a global level and in to new markets.”
