Chris Davies, an online gambling consultant with more than 30 years’ experience in multinational companies, most notably as CEO of Webtech, has been appointed chief executive officer of virtual sports provider VSoftCO following a six month stint with the company as a consultant.
Davies will report directly to the board of directors and will have full responsibility for company operations, VSoftCO said this week.
Commenting on his appointment, Davies said:
“VSoftCo has a unique advantage in its real-time rendering engine and we will be seeking to exploit that, and our other exciting developments, to widen our appeal in the sector. I am fortunate to be able to build on the work done by the previous dedicated and highly capable team.
“We are also working alongside our key partners Vermantia and Kiron Interactive to ensure we can provide a market-leading portfolio of virtual sports.”
Davies has been working on the development of the first real time on-demand virtual game during his consultancy term at VSoftCO, and plans are afoot to launch the product at next month’s ICE Totally Gaming show.
VSoftCO director Scott McCabe said that Davies will be a great asset to the VSoftCo team.
“VSoftCo experienced a very exciting year in 2017 with numerous deals being signed and we have already benefited from Chris’ experience in developing and delivering our market leading technology, McCabe said.
