Jackpotjoy PLC (formerly Intertain) has appointed Irina Cornides as chief executive of its largest division comprising Jackpotjoy, Starspins andBotemania brands.
The unit, which was acquired from the Gamesys Group in April 2015 on an earn-out basis, currently operates on proprietary software which is owned by Gamesys.
In her new role, Cornides will act as the primary point of contact and a management intermediary between Jackpotjoy and Gamesys. She will report directly to chief executive of the PLC company, Andrew McIver.
Cornides previously held the position of chief revenue officer at Intertain Bahamas, the holding company for Jackpotjoy’s operating assets.
Prior to Intertain, she was managing director of Mandalay Media Group, moving into that position having served as head of bingo at BGO Group.
