Czech finance ministry accredits eCOGRA as an online gambling testing agency

The independent online gambling testing laboratory and regulatory adviser eCOGRA is among the first few companies to achieve accreditation as an authorised Czech testing agency by the Central European nation’s Ministry of Finance, and was itself subjected to rigorous probity, professional staff, methodology and technical capability checks by the State Supervision of Gambling and Lotteries before receiving approval.

eCOGRA director Andrew Beveridge says the accreditation grant follows the introduction of new and updated Czech gambling regulations in which all operators are required to meet government standards and requirements which are strictly enforced.

“Achieving early Czech testing accreditation stems from our strategy for obtaining timely approval from leading national regulators, and we already have a significant portion of the license applicants for this particular market committed to using eCOGRA for their certification requirements,” he said.

“Now with our approval to perform expert technical compliance assessments and certifications secured, we are inviting other interested applicants to discuss their certification requirements with us.”

Beveridge added his company remains committed to servicing its clients in each of the regulated markets where they choose to license their online gambling products.
