Asian-facing online gambling firm DafaBet has become superbike racing team Splitlath Redmond’s leading sponsor for the 60th Macau Grand Prix event.
The annual Macau Grand Prix is a motor-racing event known for being the only street circuit racing event in which both car and motorcycle races are held.
DafaBet’s head of sponsorship John Cruces said the company recognises the growing audience in Motorsport and is striving to put its brand in front of all manner of sports fans.
“The team have taken the EBR 1190RS Superbike out of the US for the first time, which is ground-breaking in itself. It’s also the 60th anniversary of the Macau Grand Prix, where they expect a record number of visitors and over 12m TV viewers from around the world. We wish the team every success and riders Mark and Brandon a safe ride,” Cruces said.
Co-owner of Splitlath Redmond, John Dimbylow added: “To bring such a huge and respected brand into our team is something we are very proud to do. Like us, Dafabet are looking for different markets to explore so we feel a very close symmetry with our interests and objectives. Following the pack isn’t in either of our natures and to have Dafabet endorsing our philosophy and strategy is fantastic. You could say we are a sure bet now!”
