Daily fantasy sports partners with poker for European championship

The cross-over between sports and poker is much in evidence in the news this week that World Poker Tour and daily fantasy sports giant DraftKings have teamed up on the former’s upcoming (January 2018) WPT European Championships main event.

DraftKings will offer its vast player base eight opportunities to win a seat in the main event through its National Basketball Association and National Football Association products, and in return will have wide exposure at the Championships, scheduled for the Spielbank Casino in Berlin early next year.
