One of the market leaders in daily fantasy sports, FanDuel has scored a major coup by signing multi-year sponsorship agreements with 15 US National Football League teams, significantly augmenting an earlier agreement with the Washington Redskins (see previous report).
The new deal includes the Buffalo Bills, Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, San Diego Chargers, Indianapolis Colts, Philadelphia Eagles, Jacksonville Jaguars, New York Jets, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, St. Louis Rams, Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans.
Fanduel is working on another agreement with the Chicago Bears, according to local media reports.
The agreements are expected to cover a wide range of promotional possibilities, including stadia and website advertising and presence, mainstream and social media advertising opportunities, visit competitions and digital presence on team blogs and twitter accounts.
