Daily fantasy sports on regulators annual agenda

Daily fantasy sports and sports wagering in general feature high on the agenda for the summer annual meeting of the National Council of Legislators, taking place in Boston this year on July 29.

Other topics on the agenda include problem gambling, casino saturation, the future of lotteries, Indian gaming and Internet gaming.

Assemblyman J. Gary Pretlow of New York – who has introduced regulatory legislation for DFS in the New York Legislature – has been tapped to lead a panel of national experts on daily fantasy sports and sports wagering.
