DFS market leaders unhappy with New Jersey bills

In New Jersey, two DFS regulatory bills currently at committee stage in the state legislature – S1927 and A4805 – have been criticised by daily fantasy sports market leaders FanDuel and DraftKings because they do not explicitly categorise DFS as a game predominantly of skill (and by implication therefore outside the legal definition of gambling in the state).
The bills propose regulatory measures that include prohibitions on employees of DFS operators taking part in competitions run by DFS operators, and S 1927 has already made progress, surviving one committee on a 5 vs. 0 vote.
