Loto-Quebec’s fiscal half-year results are in, and its Espacejeux online gambling division is once again the star of the show, reporting year-on-year revenues up 28.2 percent to Cdn$28.3 million.
The division’s online casino posted revenue up 20.2 percent year-on-year to Cdn$16.3 million, and launched its first mobile platform in September 2015. The company’s online player base now numbers 208,000.
As a group, Loto-Quebec generated overall revenue of Cdn$1.75 billion, a 4 percent year-on-year increase, with profits up 5.7 percent to Cdn$617.6 million, with bingo performing particularly well and growing 38 percent y-o-y.
