Tim Bristow and Geoff Baldwin have resigned as directors of bwin.party digital entertainment plc with immediate effect, a company statement announced today.
Tim Bristow, an independent non-executive director of bwin.party, is stepping down after serving over six years with the Company, having joined the board of PartyGaming in May 2007 and then continued with the Company after the merger with bwin Interactive Entertainment AG in March 2011.
Geoff Baldwin, a non-independent non-executive director, was appointed in July 2011 following a nomination under the terms of the relationship agreement between bwin.party, Emerald Bay Limited and Stinson Ridge Limited. Baldwin has decided to step down following discussions between him and the parties that nominated him. A successor has not been nominated, although the nomination right has been retained.
The changes are in line with the company’s intention to reduce the size of its board expressed in its 2012 annual report .
