Double Down Interactive, a Seattle-based casual games developer of “fun to play” casino experiences on the Internet, is expanding aggressively, according to a company spokesman this week.
The company is moving to more spacious headquarters near Seattle’s historic Pioneer Square, transferring its 52 employees, and has room to add up to 100 additional employees in the new space.
With a view to hiring additional people, DoubleDown has appointed Peter Anderson as VP Recruiting and Human Resources. He will immediately begin to fill a number of existing vacancies across all functional areas including Java, Flash, Web, and Mobile developers, and plan for more in the future.
Anderson brings more than 15 years of recruiting and HR experience with high-growth technology companies, and was formerly VP Recruiting and Human Resources at Big Fish Games.
“Our new headquarters mark a new chapter for our rapidly growing company as we look to expand our team and continue to create the world’s biggest and best free casino application on Facebook,” said Glenn Walcott, president at Double Down Interactive.
