Daily Fantasy Sports market leader DraftKings has announced another important partnership deal, this one an exclusive agreement with the US Major Soccer League.
The deal covers both the US and Canada and includes involvement with certain teams, promotional opportunities and the creation of new games.
Jason Robins, DraftKings CEO, said in a statement that soccer was underrepresented in the DFS market, but his company intended to change that in a big way, whilst MLS president Gary Stevenson boosted DraftKings as an established and proven fan development tool which would be deeply integrated within MLS’ digital platforms.
DraftKings already has a slew of key partnerships with organisations like the Ultimate Fighting Championship, the National Hockey League, Major League Baseball and NASCAR .
